Why Does Youtube's Servers Update So Slow?

    Sometimes it takes all day for my view counts to update.Why does it take so long to update?

    because they dont want their database to be screwed logging views in real time so they setup crons and looking at the large amount of data on youtube its bound to take time

    The site is huge so its no suprise there, but yea it can take a while. Tired of seeing ''Why are there more votes than views???'' in the comments, but what to do.
