Why does yahoo take longer to index websites that other search engines?

    I think google can take longer to show site in results than yahoo. If you get a link from site that yahoo sipders you should get site listed fast

    My recent experience with brand new sites is also that Yahoo takes about a month longer than google.

    Yahoo & MSN both take long time to index the new sites. Also their traffic is less. any one getting more traffic from Yahoo than google?

    Yes, yahoo is alot longer to indexed. However, once they start, you will get good traffic. I love the traffic I get from yahoo.

    Looking at the cache date between the two SE Yahoo and Google, certainly seems that way. My site was last crawled by Google as the cache date shows 2 days ago but Yahoo last crawled my site more than 3 months ago. So there it stands.

    Hi,
    I think Google robot.txt (crawling) is better then yahoo that's why Google result is the best and Google data facility providing program one of the best.
