Why does Yahoo not index complete sites?

After 1 year, still only 300 of 3000 pages indexed. WHyyyyyy????

Don't say inbound links as we are a PR 6 in Google.

Seems like Yahoo and Google have both got some sort of a sliding scale where as they only take a certain % of pages over time.

Eg: first year, 20% of entire pages.

Sorta like a sandbox sliding scale.

Also have another site where Google only has indexed 200 of 2000 pages. This started in summer of 2005 and is very similar to what Yahoo does.

    comments.

I have noticed Yahoo is extremely sluggish on indexing sites. I don't think their system has the capacity of Google. They also update infrequently as well. Maybe they are still using the old Inktomi technology.

Updating your content frequently should help. Both Yahoo & Google loves the content of the page. Good luck.
