    Its true . Yahoo shows more backlinks as compare to google as google onlly count quality links and yahoo each and every.

    yeah, what the other post said is rubbish... google count it as multiple links as well, the guy doesnt know what he is talking about....

    there are a lot of people that just post rubbish for the sake of making a post...

    It is not a big deal. Both google and yahoo use different algorithm. Google only shows the summary of the backlinks while yahoo shows the full list. So, the number of backlinks shown by google is always less than that showed by yahoo.

    It seems that Yahoo considers both types of link as a backlink such as do follow link and no follow link whereas Google only considers do follow link as a backlink

    Google count unique visitors and every time new visitors are not possible. I think yahoo count visitors but need to add some thing good even repeated but google don't.

    If you site have 100 links from forums.digitalpoint.com google will count it one cause it is one site, but yahoo will count it 100.

    I don't know their internal fact but they has different algorithm for ranking. May be that's why your back link shows different amount.
