Why does two of the same offer pay different?

I am new to affiliate marketing so this might be obvious, but not to me. I signed up for Clickbooth and was looking through their offers. I saw two insurance offers. Same company. Same offer. Same requirement.

The only difference I saw was that they made it so that with one of the campaigns it was required that you market via email. That one paid more per lead than the other. Why is that?

I am guessing that they see it as 'harder' to market via email for that specific genre/product. Or maybe that email customers are more valuable to them. That is all, hope this cleared it up for you. You could always ask your affiliate manager if you have any further questions.

    Peace

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling it might have been the quality, but didn't know for sure.

Yeah, I've tried emailing the AM a few times and haven't received a response yet. Guess I'll break down and call or download an IM. I hate IMs, but it seems they all use them.

They pay different because the networks are paying different.

I like to give them a call! It's more direct and personal and gets things done quicker. Time is money ;)
