Why does the blogger traffic stats and Google analytics doesn't match at all

    My blog is: http://infographicsdirectory.blogspot.com/
The traffic stats on my blogger dashboard is no where close to the traffic stats of Google Analytics.

This is very strange.. in Analytics it shows very less number of visitors but in blogger the page views are too many. I had excluded my own visits in blogger dashboard.

Does someone have an explanation about it?

My best suggestion would be that the Blogger Analytic tool also tracks bots and social network interactions as visitors or hits to the blog.

When you share your pages in social networks, sometimes the tools in your dashboard that are supposed to track the traffic to your site - might read those social network shares as visits. There are also Search Engine Bots that come to your website and that also might be counted as a visit or hit by your own Analytic tools.

The Google Analytic Tool is more accurate and has the power to track the best traffic that comes to your site. In this case it would be only Real People who the Google Analytic Tool wants to track and learn from the most.

Another problem that might be causing this, is a malfunction with the connection between your Google Analytic Account and your Blogger Site.

These are just my suggestions from my experiences of course.

    Hope this helps!

Much success on your online journey!

    CHeers!

Sometimes we are facing the issue of Time Settings. Please check the time zone set in Google Analytics with Time Zone of your blog. This will resolve the major stats difference.

As @Freedom mentioned, Blogger tracks bots and spammer links, whereas Analytics does not (at least, that's my understanding). Also, check your "Track my clicks" setting in Blogger - I find that it changes from do not to track back to track, all by itself. All that can result in a discrepancy between the two trackers.
