I have been monitoring search engine spider activity on a site I help manage, and noticed that the Baidu Spider's crawl rate is approx. 20 times that of other spiders like Googlebot, BingBot & Yahoo! Slurp. Why is this? Are Baidu trying to keep a super-up-to-date local cache?
