Why does some subdomains have backlinks and some don't?

    howcome my website,which is a subdomain of googlepages doesn't have any backlinks?

    http://noinstalllanchat.googlepages.com


    When I had a blogger site using a blogspot.com subdomain,it had 80,000+ backlinks.

    Why is this?

    subdomains are completely new domains for the search engines.

    you must built backlinks for them like normal web site

    Well said. Do some of the SEO's on here advise building backlinks two the home page + 1 or 2 two of the most popular content pages? A domain + Subdomain in Google SERPS must increase traffic dramatically.
