Yahoo doesn't indexing my site, why?

Google has indexed all pages but yahoo has only indexed the homepage.

Same thing happenned to mine a while back. Yahoo, somehow thinks that you breached their TOS's and subsequently are not indexing your pages. You'll notice they are not sending any traffic your way either.

Do you have hidden text anywhere (even if you don't think you do, they might depending on your html code.)?

Do you have meta tags that accurately describe each page?

I've gone through all of their Tos's and still can't get back in. good luck!

It might be easier for you to make another website.

I have seen this happen with a client.

If the site is established and you have only 1 or 2 pages in the index then most likely you have a penalty. We contacted Yahoo and they said there was an issue, but wouldn't say what it was.

The penalised website also has a Yahoo Directory listing that has not been delisted.

It also depends how old is your site, yahoo seems to be the slowest to index out of the three big

How frequently do you update the content on your site ? How many links do you have pointing to your site?

just give it time, just like google, their indexed links go up and down like everyday, same thing happens to all of our sites, i have like 9k in yahoo and 6k in google and these numbers WILL change

u just have to give everything some time, i had to learn that slowly back when i first started and was impatient lol

In my experience with Yahoo...if you:
    Submit according to the TOS,
Make sure you follow the tips for webmasters that they provide,
Do as much link building as you can.

It is only then that they will index your site...When ever the hell they feel like it!
They are slow, there is nothing to be done except pay the listing fee for the Directory, which I refuse to do.

I have tried in vain to get relisted in Yahoo! by contacting them numerous times. It appears that the URL is just permanently banned.

I am pure white hat with all of my sites.

Another odd thing is that Yahoo! Slurp will visit many of my pages nightly. They have done this for years even though I am not listed by them.

I recommend you start with another domain and keep it squeaky clean, and hope for the best.

Yahoo is pulling some kind of crap. I've had my site up for over a year. All that time, Yahoo listed me with no problem. A month ago, they all of a sudden dropped my entire site and when I asked about it, they gave me the Quality TOS crap, but nothing had changed on my site.

They say to ask to have it re-considered for inclusion, so I do that. I get back the same TOS email. I asked about why this is happening. I get the "ask to have it re-considered" email again. They have two email that they send out over and over until you pull your hair out. Rinse, repeat.

I'm starting to hate Yahoo as much as I do DMOZ.
