Why Does my Statcounter show a Keyword but Adwords shows 0 Clicks?

Basically, my statcounter.com shows a keyword that I have in my adwords group. It shows multiple incoming clicks from it, but that keyword in adwords is inactive and shows 0 impressions and clicks. how can this be?

 

Statcounter is in real time. Adwords reporting isn't, there's a time lag of up to 3 hours.

 

that cant be it. it says [keyword] is inactive for search. i confirmed with adwords rep.

but, i still see the exact keyword coming through multiple times throughout the day...but adwords reports 0 clicks.
