why does my site's PR fall to 1 from 4

  1. #1
    last month i have add some keywords to my site, and in the next day the pr fall to 1 from 4.
    the keywords take up 6% of all words. and i didnt change the title. the traffic is about 1700 per day. i didnt add any links to other website

    i want to know why ?:confused:

    I think it's because when you change your old keyword so there is no link value for that keywords so far your old back link has no value I think.

    i think it's pretty regular for google to make our PR go up and down. don't worry though. it will regain its PR as before.

    are you updating your blog regularly after you got PR4 ?

    because that may also be a reason for the downfall

    Hello Friend,

    If you are facing this type of problem then you should go google. webmaster and send a request and first if you find some spamming links in your site then first remove them . I also faced this problem but i got my website PR in next day .

    That's mean that your web site is now in competition and it will fall and come up according your back links.

    may be the thing recognize by google in last month before pr up date ..............may be virus or some part of black-hat related to other theme website or what ever other reason. go in google webmaster help forum and ask .............some buddy at level4 or google team check with advance tool and tell you exact problem. i found many complicated answer there.

    Didn't you do any thing else? for example banning some IP ranges or blocking google bots?

    I have a website with pr 5 and I blocked some IP ranges last month so google bots were blocked because of their IPs an then google reduced my Pr to 1. after removing IP blocking I got pr 5 again in a week.!!!
