You should be patient and continue to build backlinks and your pr will improve
    over time.

It is six months old and no pr. Relevant backlinks are very useful. Also exchange links with some good website.

I noticed you have a lot of outbound links. This can affect your PR juice greatly. I'd suggest putting some nofollow tags on, or stop the selling of blog posts a bit. Generally you want to build PR first, and THEN sell blog posts. (Or link to other sites you may have, etc etc)

I have one website that has a total of zero outbound links- all are nofollow. That's the way it should be until you build credibility.

    Also, build more backlinks.

You should be updating it more so that it would get indexed easily by Google. the more your site get indexed teh more it will have a chance to get a pr.

Not necessarily. It all depends on your infrastructure, navigation, and how you handle interlinking. While it's good to update constantly, I think his time is best spent right now building links.

I haven't updated one of my blogs in months, and it's consistently gaining PR with each update simply because of me building links to it.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I have one site that got a PR1 rather quickly and another, that gets much more trafic, and is much older, but still no page rank.

Yeah, but I just said that I have a site that's newer and does have PR.

Also, to whoever said to not sell posts, I'm not selling any posts so that's not the problem.

have you tried to build too many backlinks in short span of time. I tried to build too many backlinks in short span of time and on next PR update one of my site's PR went to 0 from 3. After that the PR is not updated at all.

The simple reason why your site has no PR yet is because Google hasn't given you any yet.

This is genius - can you also explain the meaning of life?

More importantly.. continue building backlinks & write good content. See how you go next PR update (which realistically, should be soon..ish)

You don't say mate? I believe he's already worked out that much hence the posting on this forum. When you reply, try and post a decent answer.

melbel, I believe all answers (exc: sfraise) are pretty much on the dot. PR is obtained by a mixture of things and generally the one most people forget about is content. Google does determine a pages rank by what's on it and the relevancy to the domain. Of course external links are also just as critical, but make sure they are relational to your website.. the higher relation, the more chances of your page increasing in PR.

    Good luck mate

    Problem solved.

BTW, do you know what the average body temperature of a slug is?
It's room temperature! Go figure huh?

If PR shown as N/A, that means google has yet to give you PR.
