Why does my site not have a PR?

PageRank of 0 from an 1 year old site that has links means penalization, if you have a brandnew website and is already indexed in google database either from a nofollow link and Google just updated its pagerank, it will show you page rank of 0 meaning your website is new and without backlinks, however a year old website with healthy backlinks like one from DMOZ backlink at least should be showin a pagerank of 1.

I actually thought my site has been penalized!
Its an automated content site, with all its "juice" (lol) coming from google and a couple of others. It gets a 1000 uniques a day, and is almost three months old...

Btw when's the next pr update?

 

Can you please tell me when the next update of google review of Page rank? I am also waiting for update of my site rank.

 

Don't worry about PR. If your site is new, it might take 9 months until you get some decent Page Rank.

What you could do is register for Google Webmaster Tools to see whether google has a problem with your website.

Then, focus on your traffic and sales and don't worry so much about Page Rank.

 

First of all your site is penalized and that is for sure because you are using "http://ps3home.co.uk/index.html" under the home tab of your navigation and it is running through out all of your pages.Without index.html & with index.html bots are getting same content which triggers canocalization penalty.
Solution: Change link under the home button so that it must point the homepage without index.html, By doing this as far as my experience concerns your pr will increase in next update!

See his navigation links on upper side,link under the home button is "http://ps3home.co.uk/index.html" but his prime url which google considers and indexed as a homepage is "http://ps3home.co.uk/".so whenever google crawls his Hompage (http://ps3home.co.uk/) it goes also (http://ps3home.co.uk/index.html) through the navigation as i said earlier and gets the same content as he got in his prime url.
This makes google to trigger its duplication penalty as from google TOS,No two url's should return same content.

No it doesn't mean that your site is penalised, it means google has not yet given any pr to your site.....

 

Alot of mixed views, dosen't google make it public on if your site was penalised?
