Hi, ive just uploaded the phpld script but my images look like blured. Heres the url: www.blogz.bz The images where .gif...i thought that was the problem so i changed to bmp but the problem continued. I changed it to png but the images continue to look wrong. What can i do? Thanks, fuser
This can happen sometimes if the images have been resized. If you are resizing images make sure that you resample them as well. As the actual image itself is distorted then you will have to design new images.
HI, i havent touched the images....i downloaded the template and uploaded it. Then i changed them to other formats but the problem persisted. Thanks for the help, fuser
Try inserting the images into a different template and uploading a page and see what happens. If it looks fine then there is something wrong with your actual website. If it is still the same then I would have new images created.
Interestingly, the images you changed, or at least some of them, are still registering to the browser as .gif even though you have changed them to .png. Did you change them using an application or did you simply alter the extension? Odd question, I know, but given the images say .png but are actually in .gif format, a necessary one. Why not upload a couple of images to this thread to see how they turn out?
other common reason of this behavior is having a .htaccess file with Order Allow,Deny somewhere where the images directory resides, usually a top level directory.
well one of those buttons look fine to me, maybe you should try using dreamweaver and rencode the location of the image file(image source),
change them to JPG and upload them again, somethings gone wrong with either your download of the template or when the images were compressed for web use
