    Hi fellow bloggers,

Just new to all this blog stuff, I just started a blog at blogger.com/blogspot.com

I'm wondering why Google never index my site even though its been months, like 3 months and still I dont see the url in Google when I search it.

I heard the main reason why people like to use blogger is because of the speed which Google will index your site/blog but I never seen that yet...

Any idea what could be wrong? There is no adsense up yet on the blogs because I wanted to get indexed first. That hasnt happened yet...and I'm not banned fom Adsense or Google in any way...

    Thanks

Have you been building links? Try submitting to directories. I did this and my blog was indexed almost immediatly. Some people say it doesn't make a difference but you could try submitting your site to google. Also what is it about? If your blog is about a very competitive keyword you can be sandboxed for a very long time.

Almost all Blogspot blogs go into the Google Sandbox...

If you are in it there isn't much you can do about but build incoming links, put up quality content, and be patient.

Maybe the content of your blog is not related to your targeted keywords.

Maybe you don't have any links to the blog.

Its true I never built any inbound links cos I thought..."Hey Google owns Blogspot, shouldnt be tough...some guys got indexed in days..."

 Now I know its not so easy...

Well, you guys are right, I should submit my site and build some links in...

I always thought if there is quality information, Google will recognize that and give you a good ranking, almost without effort...

I have an old 3 year free site that has quality info, and no monetization...no inbound links...nothing. This site is always on the front page of Google and Yahoo for a keyword with 3000,000 other competition....ahead of many other big sites and I thought blogspot would work the same way...

    Guess I'm wrong, LOL

Incoming links are the biggest tool google uses to know that your site is relevent.
