Why does my Awstats show 200+ Visitors but only 100 adsense impressions?

    I get 100 adsense impressions on 200+ Visitors to my site. And Pages says 5.6/per visitor. How does this convert to only 100 adsense impressions?

    Any ideas?

    Some of them don't have Java installed.
    I couldn't see any ads at your forum.

    There are no ads on the forum. I'm talking about the content area. What does java have to do with it?

    Comparing page impressions on adsense to impressions showing up in logs or stat programs is useless UNLESS you have an ad (so the impression shows up in adsense) on every page. Since it sounds like you don't have ads in the forum then those pages show up in the stats and show up as part of what visitors visit, BUT they will never show up as an ad impression since there are no ads on them.

    There are many reason why Awstats could count more impressions than Google. Awstats often doesn't recognize various robots, so it counts hits from them as impressions. If a visitor has Javascript turned off, Google will not count it. If a user leaves a page before the AdSense ad is loaded, it will count as an impression in Awstats, but not Google.

    adsense does not count all the impressions.

    i saw that you are using joomla for your site.

    The only reason behind is that in some browsers visitors can block the adsense ads by installing ad blockers E.g in IE7 etc.,
