Why does hosting on unique IP addresses have to be so expensive?

Good thoughts indeed. You could host with the same company just need a different c-class server if I am not mistaken..

I also think for the most part that the whole issue may be going a bit too far, or it may be too costly, however if competing for xxx,xxx,xxx comp keyword terms it is often a good idea.
