Why does Google love WP? is it their Sitemaps or footer? or plugins?

    hello everyone,

    I've heard perhaps like many that google loves wp
    trying to understand why...

    My host, once I use WP and load vids and plugins
    takes about 7 to 15 seconds to load any one my sites
    and that is about 10 seconds on average!

    It's obscene

    So what does W have that an ccs or html based site notr have?

    I know there is a common footer? perhaps it gives Googles anayltics an edge?
    or could it be there are plugins for adsense?


    any idea as to why?

    because I could perhaps then integrate that component into
    "non-wp" sites and start to move fast once again!

    my "traditional ccs type sites" same host, load in 1 second!

    any help appreciated!

    Yes its because WP have auto created plug ins and its most popular one among the blog sites..

    IT does seem weird that Google loves word press so much cant really tell you why but can confirm they do love it. I wonder if they have their hand in the word press pie some where

    A few things make Wordpress quick to index:

    Sitemap Plugins
    Automatic Pinging (probably the biggest)
    Clean, Simply Coding
    Internal Linking (New pages often placed as links on the sidebar)
    Simple URL's without any weird subdirectories to crawl through

    There isn't any magic that makes Wordpress sites index or rank faster than other sites. It's simply that Wordpress is clean, and has built in pinging.

    as stated above one of its most important feature is automatic pinging which you don't have in other scripts or custom coded web sites
    search engine friendly urls, also there are a lot of plugins available to tweak it further like various seo plugins
