I know Google launched Music Search for at least one year now. But why Google is hiding it? I mean why there's no real url for Music Search? I can't find Music Search in neither more» nor even more». Google Music Search is very useful; lists Artists, Songs and Albums. A search for [shakira] has the onebox result linking to the music search for [shakira]. However, I don't understand why Google doesn't provide a url for us to use music search directly. Eg. We can use Blog Search by searching on blogsearch.google.com Hmm, maybe Google is waiting for competition from Yahoo! and Live before unhiding the Music Search...
Google seems to take their time before releasing things to the public. Ex: When video.google.com was available, there wasnt a direct link to it on google's page as there is now. as well as maps. (which are both on the main page)
I was wondering the same thing about google stalk. It's been there and integrated with google maps, blogger, and gmail for a while.
I would hardly call it "hidden". More >> Even More >> Web Search Features: The music search box itself is about halfway down the page. My guess is the links used (you only have so much space on the front page, etc) are based on popularity. Even tho you don't see the link, btw, you can still search directly... just type in [music:shakira] (without the brackets) into the search box. -Michael
