Why does Google hate me so?

    I wrote a little tool that let's me see where I'm listed with the top 3 search engines. I've been playing with this today and I'm amazed at how different my rankings are with Google compared to either Yahoo! or MSN.

    I don't understand why Google hates me so!

    Google does not "hate" anyone, they are just a bit wacky and do things the Google way.

    They "like" certain things and dislike others and maybe your site is on the dislike side at this time.

    Just got to figure out what they like right now is the key. :)

    Maybe they don't like thousands of links to sites they don't like this month.

    Maybe next month they don't like sites that don't advertise with them, damn who knows what it will be next week, maybe the linking toolbar will fall in love with your sites one day if you buy some ADWORDS. :confused: :p

    There is always Bill Gates and his $$. Fortunately, MSN absolutely adores me! I don't like cutting off sources of traffic, but in my very low, humble opinion, I'm gonna stop chasing after the G.. it don't pay! (But I will continue to use Adwords ;) )

    Fer instance, one of the sites I run is frameless-showers.com which sells, ironically enough, frameless shower doors. I've done some serious work on this site but when I run a query for 'frameless shower doors', I get this:

    MSN ranking: 1
    Google ranking: Not listed in the top 100
    Yahoo! ranking: 6

    Now what's up with that?
