I have been banned from Google for about 3 months now, and I have made numerous reconsideration requests without success. When I search for my domain using "sitecgold.com", there is no result. I even made typed "ocgold.com" in Google search, but nothing shows up. I'm not a spammer, doing anything illegal, nor putting bugs on people computers. I don't understand why Google has been banning for so long. Moreoever, I'm used to see results from Yahoo when searching for "ocgold.com" (just one link on the top), but that link has completely disappeared. Please somebody help me. I will be very grateful for your guidance.
that's interesting that both Yahoo and Google have both removed you from their index. It certainly could be an entirely different issue than a TOS issue, since that it's happening ubiquitously.
This could be for many reasons, some of these reasons could be for having copied content or content issues on your website along with other reasons. Content issues can be several things, if you could provide more information on the issues it may be better addressed.
Google doesn't ban you , you itself restricted not all to crawl, i seen your site code <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> remove that and ad this code in your site <meta name="robots" content="index, follow" /> i hope it work.
My thoughts exactly, that should fix the problem. But after you have done that it wont be instant, you need to wait for a couple of weeks or so. Make sure you resubmit your site to the Search Engines, setup a GWT account & put a sitemap. Good luck Louie
WOW!!! I'm so grateful for your pointing it out. I will look into how to fix that. You're my savior! Yes sir, I'll most definitely follow your advise Yup, it's http://ocgold.com
Usually there is no warning for being banned or penalized by Google except for the steady drop of sales and visitors to your site. Many site owners and search engine optimization firms are left with little to no idea why they were removed and can be left scratching their heads as to how to get back in.
My contents are hand written mostly. If there's any paraphrases, then I quote the source or author. I think that the 'ban' has much to do with <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> on my pages. That is now fix, and we would have to wait and see if Google / Yahoo re-index my site.
Lesson Learned: Anytime your site is not being index verify that: 1) Your Robots.txt is not blocking crawlers from crawling the pages and 2) You don't have a <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> element in the head of your documents These are the FIRST two places you should always look when you have such a problem.
