Why does G+ have so many urls....

I can understand the decline, what i can-not
under is why G+ needs so many urls?

https://plus.google.com/+myname

So I have a business url which I am still not all that
sure exactly what it is for...

then I have two other urls that are completely different,
and they are their own urls with different posts...

I see why people are so confused...

Why not just have one custom url that does it all....

I dont get it!

 

Cuz, nobody is going to penalize them for duplicate content. JK. But... it would be great if they applied the same rules to their own stuff for once. As an example, these two links are essentially the same:

other properties make sense....
just not multiple url google...
I am not going to use all of them...
do I post on the url where shares are posted,
do I post on my custom name url, which makes more sense...

After 4 days, I am still not still not able to set my custom YouTube
url. I read some place once you set your G+ url, then that applies
to youtube as well, however, i see no evidence of that at all...
