Why does adsense sends payment by ordinary post - cheque?

    In India - For takings payment google accepts credit cards,but while sending payments it sends cheques by ordinary post.
    Why doesnt it transfer via paypal or direct to bank?

    in indonesia only two options. DHL or ordinary post. Dhl took one week and Post usually mine after 10th each month after payment issued.

    if you are in the US you can have it placed into your bank account. all other countries are by check.

    I don't think they'll use paypal coz they have your own system similar to paypal. What they can introduce is transfer to bank accounts directly. That would make the process quick.

    Google will never use PayPal as Its a direct competitor of Google CheckOut.
    I hope they will introduce the EFT soon in India. But, for the time being, it's only Secure Delivery and/or Standard Post.

    I am using Bidvertiser for one of my sites, and I request the check to be paid by mail.

    There is an option to be paid by Paypal, but why pay all those hefty charges rather than waiting?
