Why do you want to run a website with that subject?

Hi, I'm newcomer,I want to have my first website for I think it may be profitable..
But I don't know which kind of website can give me good chance.In my opinion, it's like job,diffent job can have different future.

Can you give me a hint for the following questiones?
1:why do you want to run a website?

2: why do you choose that kind of website for you site?

What knowledge do you have in a specific area?

What are you studying at Uni? Or at College? Have you graduated with a specialist subject, where you can target it as a niche?

 

1. I make websites because I love managing servers. When I got a server for myself, I found it was silly when running a server without any website. So I began to make websites, and now I love doing this, especially if I could yield from them.

2. How to choose a subject for my website is not what I should consider. I would only think about what my interest is, what kind of thing I am familiar with, and what kind of things I still wan to learn.

My major is mechanics, but frankly,I know little about that, I worked as programmer and sales up to now.
I want to have my site for I like Interent very much, I spent a lot of time online.

Frankly, I think I'm very realistic,for I find I'm always interest in what can give me benefit.If I need to do something that can't give me benefit,I think I'll lose interest about it soon.

BTW: from where I can get the newest popular website information? I think it'll give me some idea.

 

I see some people posting advice that you should start a website on a subject that you are familiar with but I find it hard to believe that people are passionate about home loans/diet loss/hair loss etc. websites yet they seem to have good success making money from them. My advice would be to study what websites make money and make similar ones, if your ultimate goal is to make money from websites. If you want to make a hobby website don't expect it to make big bucks even though it may have more original content and more longterm value for the average reader.

 

Do a website about you hobbys or what is your domain (so you have an advantage on content etc etc )

And don't start with this in minf "i Must make a site to make money" you will not have a good luck

Choose something that you are good at or interested in.

 

1. Because I know a lot about it.
2. Its easy for me to write about my topic.

 

What hobbies do you have?

I chose dogs for my website subject because I have a dog, and I volunteer with dogs at the animal shelter
