I use Twitter for information & marketing purpose only, as such social networking sites have a huge marketing potential.

I use it for chatting purpose as well as for promotion purpose. Its a great platform to promote a website and drive traffic to it.

 

I use twitter to make friends not for marketing purposes, People follow me and visit my blog from my profile, that's it I dont have any product to market.....

 

I like to see what other people have to say and to see what is going on in other parts of the world - in semi-real time.

1. Fan base. I find it easy to grow my followers fast.
2. Ease of Use. It is easier to post a tweet compared to a blog. Only 2 lines. Don't have to write paragraphs.
3. Convenience. You can post a tweet from a mobile device.
4. Fresh info. You can get the latest and freshest news in twitter than in any other websites. You get the updates as it happen. People are using it to twit as the game progresses, as the court session as the trial unfold, as Steve Job unfold his iPad
5. Latest info. Where it is important to have the latest news e.g forex, stock prices, breaking news, twitter is a must have.
