Why do YOU use twitter?

I am using twitter because i love it. I also find great content on Twitter and it also sends traffic to my blog

 

to connect with minded people. building up relationships and such things.

 

Provides yet another means of building a network that can be leveraged for various puproses.

 

the simple joys of getting me noticed by other people is something that makes me tweet all the time. no hidden agenda except sometimes, I try to monetize it.

 

Twitter is to find like minded people

 

Does anyone make money (Real Money) from using twitter directly, maybe from posting for money? Or anything like that or do you think everyone uses twitter justto stay connected and drive web traffic to their blogs?

I like to use twitter because to gain some traffic and to earn by tweeting 3rd part ads

 

just for fun nowadayz, i used to use it for business but it was a total failure

 

now i am using twitter for finding new people

I never used to pay much attention to twitter but had a hunch that having lots of eye balls on your material would pay off eventually so I played with it for a while.

Then I hooked up my facebook to twitter and my blog as well. Now I can make one post and both twitter and face book users get notified. So it's a great "reach out" tool.

THEN, as a bonus, when you grow a good following, you can get paid to tweet as well.

i use twitter on my site so it has constant feed all the time with relevent posts .

 

I recently figured out how to run a contest on twitter effectively I plan on posting instructions on how to drive a ton of traffic to your blog using a contest on Twitter, I gave away credits at a webmaster marketplace worth $100 (free) to me as they donated it for the contest, the retweets and buzz about it got my blog 4500 new visitors in 3 days. I was shocked. I will post something about it soon when I get more time. Google how to runa twitter contest - I got ideas like that..

 

twitter is just like another social media marketing for us.
