Why do YOU use twitter?

Twitter is one of my top ways to get traffic to my blog, it also helps with SEO.

 

I would have to agree that twitter is by far the fastest way to get visitors to your site. Not only that but there targeted if you set it up right

 

Twitter is great for promoting you stuff...just use search and find people for tweeting for example about "seo" and hit them with anything you want to sell.

 

Twitter is an additional source of revenue, er no I mean traffic.

Other than that it's dead boring.....

Yawn....

 

At first I wasn't very confident about twitter.. but lately I've seen the potential to connect with people in my micro-niche and read some good news and stuff. It's basically to stay connected, I would not recommend trying to make money with it, but use it as a tool. Also, getting a few followers on topic is better than getting thousands who won't read u at all.

 

Staying in touch with your friends and marketing your sites, product, cpa offers.

I've gotten over 10,000 followers and it allowed me to connect with lot of people in different fields.

Also - made me decent money!

I use it for like minded friends. Also provides good amount of unique visitors for my sites.

 

I use twitter basically because of it's features and it actually a good way to drive more traffic!

 

A lot of people state they use Twitter to make money, does anyone have some tips on how you can make money directly from Twitter? It would be nice to see how others make real money with twitter...

Its a great way to market your business and market yourself with just a few words.. Plus it's very effective.

I don't. Can't find sense in it and see better use of my time elsewhere.

 

Ive heard a lot about using Twitter but as one poster mentioned, its hard to find the time to add in another social networking program into the mix. Does anyone whos using notice any advantages over other social sites? I work with some social networks but would try Twitter if it had any specific advantages over others.
