Why do YOU use twitter?

I certainly agree with that. The beauty of Twitter also is that unlike MySpace, where you can build your friends up but they are against people advertising links and stuff through their social networking profiles, Twitter allows anyone to build a relationship, and both make money at the same time. Other social networks want you to buy banner ad impressions.

 

For me, twitter is a nice place for traffics.

twitter is the best at list building cheap (free) and fast.

i see twitter or a twitter type medium overtaking email marketing in the future.

 

I hope that twitter does not take on the same characteristics as email marketing and become noting but ads ads ads.. There is some good content on some twitter pages but I think people over promote on twitter. I use it to mostly read others stuff..

 

I use (or plan to use) my site's twitter to provide info, news, run little contests and stuff like that. I ocassionally have a short conversation there with a member too.

 

just for the sake of being networked socially

 

well right now I'm basicly using it for networking and promoting my sites but it still is also a good source for hot topics and informations

 

I am using Twitter for the brand awareness of my product and getting quality results in a short span of time.

 

you use twitter to follow your friends, family and anybody u like. i have yet to use it.

 

From what I know, the gurus are killing their twitter account because they don't think the followers are worth any money and it's just a waste of time.

 

I don't use Twitter. I have more than enough ways to communicate with people already.

 

Twitter right now dominate all other Social sites in Traffic and Users.
