Why do YOU use twitter?

I am doing a little research on why internet users and webmasters use Twitter or why they like twitter. You can answer on my blog if you want some "link love"...

Question: Why do YOU use twitter and why do YOU like Twitter?

 

I use it to find like minded people to chat with
what's so lovely about your links? I see the comments are nofollow

 

ill fix that... I set them do or don't when I post and forgot the "do"...

 

Twitter is about building relationships. It is simple, short and extremely effective.

 

I use twitter to find people with common interests. It also helps me when I'm looking for people in specific geographic locations. Like if I know I'm going to move, I can use twitter to start connecting with people in the area I plan to move to.

 

Of course I want some "Link Love"

"I used to think it was nonsense. I was in that crowd of naysayers that talked crap about it… Until I learned how it actually works!

You really have to engage a bit. It takes time to build a following and once you do you have to participate in some way. Sure, you can link things up, but you also need to be active at times and pay attention to your followers.

I don;t get what you would call “traffic overload”, but what I do get is a steady stream of traffic every day to read my articles. One here, 20 there, whtever it is, it adds up at the end of the day."

I use twitter to ask general questions. Seriously.

 

To follow some famous people usually in the gaming world nothing else... and chat with friends and etc...

 

Marketing, Branding, Appearance...

If I want to communicate with friends I'll use a messenger service, a phone, or another social network that is more "social" than twitter such as Facebook.

 

I personally use twitter just to build up followers that's about it,to have something to do.

 

Twitter is a great tool to share relevant and helpful information to other people. I personally learned a great deal about internet marketing the first time I used Twitter.

 

I use twitter generally for finding the group of people in same interest, finding latest updates, chatting with new friends. I also get the most relevant visiters through Twitter.

 

Twitter is good to get that xXx $ gUaP $ xXx =)

I think it is a good thing for Bloggers Because People can Send you a DM if you Made a Spelling mistake or something is Not Loading on your Template not that there was any Problems on your Page but in General. But I guess Many Do Not Think like that and point out these things in your comment Box

Well twitter is really good way to connect your friends and share useful information and links also it helps in promoting a business.

 

Make sure to build a relationship on Twitter. I can say for sure that I don't do this on all my accounts. But the results do show.

Obviously it's hard to keep a relationship on 100+ accounts.

 

Check this out Perry Belcher quits and kills off his 100,000 twitter followers. He is quitting internet marketing. he had big time twitter followers and all gone now...

Well i use twitter to follow social media people because i want to know the updates happening in social media.

 

I've been using it to drive more traffic to one of my retail websites, with admittedly mixed results!
