adwords is best used for driving traffic to sites that sell tangible and intangible products. using adwords to get people to click even more adwords ads is not the most fruitful practice.

Google Adwords is an efficient tool to drive quality traffic to your website very easily. you need to know how to utilize it properly as it's a very complex & sophisticated tool at your disposal.
you should contact an expert who has experience in dealing with this tool, they can help you to get a better ROI.

I have used Adwords for 3 years now and it has paid off well for me, however our product pays off well for each deal. Sounds like in your case, you need to develop some more stickiness to your site so people will continue to come back to the site to make it worth while.

I used adwords for a little while. I got really into optimizing each landing page to match the keywords in the ad in order to get my cpc down as low as possible. I dropped a few hundred dollars and I got a few form submissions out of it.

Considering the amount of time I spent on it, I realized my time would be better spent just creating content and posting to linkedin, facebook, twitter etc. I still get form submissions (more so than I did with adwords), and it feels good to spend time improving my site and not having to constantly count the dollars disappearing.

It definitely works, for me it just came down to thinking about about how I'd like to spend my time (and not spend my money).

Adwords help me to choose the scope how to promote my products and services, how to describe them, so that users could easier find them. Adwords and Adsense are the two most useful e-marketing tools

Yes, AdWords is a tool that needs to be used very carefully. I always thought it was a relatively easy tool to use if you know how much a keyword is worth. You can find some very small niche keywords that will help drive traffic to your site without paying big bucks for them. That's where research and due diligence comes in.

If you're a real business, they love you.

If you're an affiliate, not so much.

so i always set the daily budget, and always use manual bid to control the cost. I can definitely see the traffic increase during adwords, but once the ads stopped, the traffic goes down.

I guess I possibly could attempt to limit the total amount per click to maybe $1.00 or less, however i was wishing many people would write success tales of the knowledge about AdWords, because to date I do not enjoy it.
