because the people who voted prefered something else. there isn't much to say you know. the opinion of those voters isn't better than yours or mine. but personally, i don't think it deserved that many nominations to begin with.
So many typos Well else is there. Avatar won an Oscar as well as a hundred other awards, does it really need more?
