I am just curious what makes people read blogs on the internet? I never stumbled over a blog that i actually found interesting. There r so much more better stuff to read out there than peoples blogs.
I read blogs mainly to gain knowledge, and sometimes there's interesting posts. Although I've visited and read hundreds of blogs over the years, I only regularly visit a handful of them (maybe 7).
I only read informational blogs I don't do celebrity, media, sports, noting like that... I read to learn and better myself at what I do in life!
I read blogs for information and to learn about the blogs topic, although I don't often read blogs, only when I've found one related to my Google search.
There's all sorts of blogs out there. You can find people that share all of the same interests that you do, whether it's sports, marketing, hobbies, interests. You name it, there's a blog out there. I've got one I use to update friends and families about stuff going on in my world. I'm in Pennsylvania, and it's an easy way to keep my family up to date with what's going in. I've got a sister in Tunisa, a brother in Arizona, and a good friend that lives in Germany. With the various time zones, it's a lot easier to post than to try and keep up to date over the phone.
I love reading personal blogs. I also read blogs with topics that interests me. They are informative and entertaining.
I've only found a few that I liked and actually bookmarked. Most are the same old thing or aren't on any real topic and float around too much. Theres one I lost the bookmark and can't seem to find and it's disappointing the other surprisingly was mixed martial marketing not something I would usually read but the publisher did a good job of being creative. For all of you out there if your gonna start ANOTHER BLOG please make it unique and interesting otherwise you will get nowhere.
Finally! Somebody with my point of view! I hate blogs, frankly I don't care what anybody else thinks, and all those add-ridden, automated blogs just drive me crazy..
I´m a internet marketer, so reading other peoples internet marketing blogs helps me find new and interesting information and also tips for my next blog post.I also visit blogs because I like to comment on others blog posts, this brings traffic to my blog as well.
I generally only read technical blogs that have a solution to an error message or a new technique. Occasionally I'll flip through a few pages of a blog if I find a link to one on a forum in someones' profile if I find them interesting enough to stalk for 5 minutes.
blog is like human, marketing, world face. So you can watch how our planet is changing. What good strategies in marketing... What new power savers are going dominate world and so on...
Well, people read blogs to follow what interest them. I read mostly politics blog, Internet Marketing blogs, and Entertainment kind of blogs This is to keep me updated and to get other ideas out there.
I read blogs that make me laugh - there are some wonderful humorous blogs out there that are perfect for my lunchbreak reading! I also enjoy blogs where the blogger has a) a strong and interesting point of view and b) good information about a topic. That combination is so valuable because you can always learn something from a smart blogger. Personal blogs about 14 year olds breaking up with their boyfriends? Not so interesting. An experienced marketer, health expert, or arts columnist who teaches as well as offers opinion about current trends? Very interesting. Dan
Personal blogs I have absolutely no interest in reading but when it comes to internet marketing or other related niches such as making money online it is a great way to find up to date information for the niche.
i read other person blog, because they provide some new information and knowledge that i do not know, so why not?
I find people's opinions important, especially when they describe past failures that I can avoid. For example, if someone tells a story about how a certain hotel room across the world was horrible, that's a big red flag to avoid that hotel, right?
