    but you are right, especially the former.
    Indeed how you were brought up or were exposed to will play a large governing aspect in your marriage. my wife & I were blessed I think, both coming from normal families.

    From our son's perspective, he doesn't often get his whims and whines given into. :) (Unless we realise our original decision was wrong or unfair.)
    We know the dangers of that only too well!

    But being a persistent, strong minded 12 year old, he never gives up hoping. :)

    that's a whole different thread...child rearing! you have to be consistent and a united front with your spouse!

    back to the OP, I truly hope she realizes that she isn't being fair to you and at least considers some compromise
