Whatever. PP's best content is pulled to Infowars in their news aggregator. Although AJ is transitioning away from PP to Infowars as the main hub. I read infowars every day or three. But then I also read antiwar.com, mises.org, lewrockwell.com, counterpunch, FSK, and money.cnn.com
You really should stop reading infowars, etc... as some form of reality, because it is not. You are way too smart to be letting yourself get so sucked into the bullony they feed. aj is laughing all the way to the bank at those who follow his stuff, unless of course, he has begun to actually believe it himself, which I still doubt. I think he is going to milk these CT's for all their worth and make sure to create new ones as often as possible without pushing too many away.
Have you read infowars? A lot of it is sourced from the MSM and alt.news sources. Thank you. And there is some crap on there, but also some really interesting stuff no one else is covering. The onus is on me to discern what is real and what is not. AJ is in this for profit. I've said many times, AJ is an entertainer. His job is to make these stories believable and interesting whether they are or not. I rarely listen to his show unless he has a guest worth listening to. To listen to AJ rant and talk to his moronic callers for 4 hours is a complete waste of my time.
debunked, here is an example of a pretty decent Infowars Radio Show. On today's show, Alex welcomes Aaron Zelman, Executive Director of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership and Cele Castillo, former DEA agent and author of Powderburns, Cocaine, Contras And The Drug War. I'll probably download the podcast of this one. Very interesting guests.
The only real reason we are hated, that is a real reason mind you, is our involvement in other countries policies and governments starting in the 50's and extending today. You cannot spread freedom and democracy through meddling in other countries or exacting regime change through assassinations or other means. Fidel Castro is an example of this, and so are the things we have done in the middle east. It is imperative that we cease all overseas activities that encourage or discourage one way or another - and return to reaction policy. Meaning should someone, after we have secured our own country first by real border control, attack us... we respond with the same fury as what we did in the Second World War in the Pacific. However if a democratically elected leader of another country is not to our liking... we should not have the killed so we can install a friendly dictatorship. That's anti democracy and anti freedom... Our policies in regard to other nation states and regions has been much too interventionist, and much too meddling for our own good - now it will be back to haunt us unless we cease now before our hands are tied further in affairs that relate to us in no way except the oil industry. If we really want to get off oil, we need to step back and look at the reserves we have. In the U.S. there is a large oil reserve worth nearly half a trillion barrels, but it was never usable until the technology existed. Well - that technology exists now... and has for about twenty years. Let's switch to our own production - and thus have no more interest in the middle east. Sure, their economies may not do as well as they have been... but they can sell to the Russians and the Chinese... while we will have American companies making American oil on American land. Then, we can wean ourselves off of oil and go to grass based cellulose fuels (corn is stupid... very stupid. Grasses can yield more fuel at a tenth the cost).
I hate america becuase its the most propagandised country due to intensive israeli based organisations, such as AIPAC.
precisely, you hit the nail on the head......american goverment's policies are what's causing discomfort among people's mind and perception towards U.S.
I don't hate America as a country, I don't really even believe in such an idea as hating a whole country. It's dumb. But I do hate a lot of what's going on in America and I hate a lot of what our government is doing and almost everything that the Bush administration is doing. I also hate that there are so many Americans like these folks in West Virginia who seem to really be pleased as a pig in filth about their overwhelming stupidity & ignorance.
I only made it 2 minutes 11 seconds into that video as I don't have enough time to watch the whole thing. I did not see anyone mention race, until the black women around 2 minutes in started calling everyone one in WV red necks... Where is the racism? Is it in the other 1 minute I have not watched?
Yes. It's blatant in one old lady in the second half. In the first half it's pretty clear but unspoken. Instead of coming out and screaming I won't vote for a N***** into the camera, they just don't have a good reason for "voting republican instead" even though they've been life-long democrats. I know people like this who have shared their views with me and they use the same code, except they've also slipped and admitted what they really think. In fact one older lady that goes to church with my parents did use the N word in describing how she will not be voting. The racism Obama has to face is real, which I think is the only chance McCain really has to win and the main reason I think Hillary would be a stronger candidate against McCain.
I did not see it that way... I saw some pretty ignorant people, on in fact that appeared as though she had no idea that Obama, though of a Muslim background and raised Muslim as she said, was IN FACT born in the US. Thought I suppose Hawaii could be one of the 58 states that do not count as part of the US.. I think she was dumb, not racist. There was really only one person that even brought up race. I think you'd probably find more people of color bothered by Obama's self proclaimed African American status as not being genuine given he is in fact not. If anything, race if made an issue is going to benefit Obama, not hurt him. We've seen that several times throughout the campaign as he has used race to his advantage.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp That says the claims that he was raised muslim are unfounded. Are you basing that on the fact that he attended a muslim school? Because he attended a catholic school too. I mean if he's only half black then he must have been raised at least half catholic too, right? If you concede that she's dumb then the probability of her being racist goes up substantially. And of course only one old lady had the balls to explicitly bring up race, they're not THAT dumb to be so ignorant on camera. So he's only half muslim too then? Hillary and the press made race an issue(not that the press was wrong to because in my opinion the Jeremiah Wright thing is a real issues that should be covered). Bill raised race not so subtly back as early as south carolina trying to make obama look like a black fringe candidate the way that jesse jackson was. I think Obama's race does help him a bit if he doesn't push the issue and that's why he's been decidedly low key about it except when forced to address it. But if the race is tight the racist rednecks could make a real impact. Of course maybe the black vote coming out will offset it making it a wash and effectively a non deciding factor.
From snopes: "Illinois senator Barrack Obama is a "radical Muslim" who "will not recite the Pledge of Allegiance". I don't recall saying that. Nor did the women in the video. You need to read more carefully next time. Yes, because people who say dumb things are always racist.. Seems to me like that is a SNOPE... The one and only person to bring up RACE is black. She herself made a racist statement, then went on to talk about race when no one else even hinted any racial inference. I find this rather interesting. No, I'm of the opinion that his beliefs lie a bit deeper ingrained into his religion than that. No, only Obama made race an issue. His speech, which at this point has likely been the cause of his sinking popularity. No one gave a shit until he started making it an issue. I doubt the "Black Vote" is all over Obama.. I would guess the majority of his supporters are white, those with white guilt, and quite a few of those "rednecks". Either way, no one should be supporting a candidate because of the colour of their skin. Those that are; there's your real racist rednecks.
You said he was a muslim. The article says he was secular and went to both christian and muslim school. You mean the speech he gave after the Rev Wrong story broke big? He HAD to address it and he did a damn fine job. Best example of a politician making lemonade that I can think of. Bill Clinton back in January trying to make Obama look like the fringe black candidate who isn't really electable and bait him into a discussion on race: http://www.youtube.com/v/vmE1VWUlOD0&hl=en There's a big difference between not voting for someone because of deeply ingrained fear or beliefs of inferiority and voting FOR a person because they represent a people who historically haven't been given a fair shot. Two totally different psychologies at work.
