Why do you fear death if you 'truly' believe in a blissful hereafter. Fearing death and yet claiming that there is a blissful hereafter is a contradiction.
I honestly fear death because I don't feel I'm ready to go. My wish is to grow old with my wife and have grandchildren. I think most people who are older and have had the majority of their family already pass away, especially a spouse, are much more inclined to not fear death. I think a lot of it has to do with age.
Who fears death like? It is a perfectly natural fact of life and when your time comes, your time comes.
People fear of things they have not done before and you don't get to die every day. When you had your first jab when you were a kid you were scared of the nidle. It did not hurt though did it?
In our religion, there's a saying, "Belief lies between fear and hope". It means that a true believer is one who hopes that God will forgive him his sins and he'll have a blissful hereafter but is also afraid that God will punish him for his sins.
If we were to live forever that would kinda suck because... i cant even imagine it... but im sure it would. Such topics freak me out actually so i better go.
i dont fear death, but i do fearing die-ing.. sounds painful. Oh and i hope you dont have to lie in a coffin underground for ever unable to move, that would be boring... enless i was buried with a pc and a decent internet connection!
i don't fear death, I fear undeath. being a zombie ain't all the movies make it out to be. All coffins are covered with cement, at least in california. That makes it real F'in hard to get out of if you are reanimated.
i don't fear death ..... m not scared of it. But yes m damn scared for losing my loved ones ......i think this is same 4 everyone.... selfish humans
I fear death because I'd miss my loved ones and I don't want to see them get hurt or cry over my death
There is not really a point in fearing it because it's the only thing that is certain in life and you just need to accept that.
