Why do you buy links?

    I wrote a blog post last night and I wanted to get people's opinions on it. Why do you buy links? Do you buy them for the PR? Do you buy them for the increase in SERPs? Do you buy them for the traffic? Or is there another reason? Please check out my blog and leave a comment with your reason. I really do appreciate it. Here.

    I don't buy links. Really don't care to be on some "new you see me now you don't" Google adventure. Besides, my site is good enough that it earns them on its own.

    why do people buy links? Because they don't know the other way how to get better SERPs.

    yes, i think that's the only advantage you can gain from buying a link now, since google penalizes a site who sell/buy links for manipulating their SERP.
    I'm wondering why there are still a lot of webmasters doing this in the Link Sales forum... :confused:
