    Many thanks for your prompt and very helpful reply. Women loving to shop is a stereotype. Sure, there are women who love to shop; but there are also men that love to shop. And just as there are men who HATE to shop, there are also many, many women who hate shopping also.

    I spent alot of time on the very subject but after 20 years of working on the shopping question, I gave up. So they like to shop, enjoy :)

    That's not true because it seems like all women like to shop, not just the beautiful ones. I see lots of fugly women like to shop too.

    I think women are conditioned to associate buying and owning things with positive feelings. This doesn't really work though, because if you are really feeling bad the "high" of a new outfit or shoes will wear off quickly.
