i dont really bother with wikedfire, i think this forum rocks and the community does seem to be pretty reliable and reputable
I'm sure not everybody over there hates DP. It's the same here, many DP'ers hate WickedFire, but does that mean we all hate them? I guess we don't
good stuff , i do the same every time i look in the mirror. ..and on a serious note, i do and i think a lot of people with a good eye for BS would agree, just dont have to indulge or pander to the crap that sometimes appears. you are always going to get it to a degree whichever forum you contribute to.
It is not just wickedfire but it is the same with many members at other forums as well. These are mostly the people who have been shown the door rightly or otherwise. I guess it is natural for people to vent out their anger and frustration out... when given such a treatment! Regards, RightMan
I heard the name of Wicked fire for first time today. And yes the banned ones hate DP. - Mr.President -
I think it's just a rivalry between 2 competing forums of a similar niche. Clearly DigitalPoint forums are the largest forums on the web for internet marketing related topics, Wicked Fire is just a smaller version of this. Although I wouldn't bash them at all, they have a great community over there with some really helpful members and advice, but I have to say my favorite forum for marketing has to be DP all the way!
Competitors. Spirit lol Posts like http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/37747-even-advertisers-digitalpoint-retarded.html really show how much they hate dp
And might I ask where my post disappeared to? Was I not nice enough? Here: Pros of DP Mods Lots of them Shit gets done fast They are nicer and more explanatory Cons of DP Mods Trigger happy on the temp bans Trigger happy on the infractions Some are on a power trip 24/7 Pros of WF Mods More laid back Let everything slide past Like messing with idiots Cons of WF Mods Trigger happy on negative reputation Can sometimes be douchebags Is that better? -Jay
it's because DP attracts a lot of newbies and most of those forums are very tightly knit so they don't welcome or like newbies, so they get annoyed by the threads made by them. Also one small problem with DP is the number of scammers, people with like 1 post who are selling illegal stuff or try to sell sites they don't actually own.
That's a rather gutsy statement coming from someone who just joined WickedFire and is already getting himself owned:
