I always see somebody said in posts "keep submitting you blog to directories".

So what's the benefits are for doing this? I always think nobody will search blogs on those directories websites.

Can someone tell me why we should do this? thanks.

    it's only optional :)
but if you want some free backlinks you might want to consider doing some submissions

    TIP:

    1. directory submissions is one of the life of SEO and link building. since link building is a necessity with promoting your business site, then you should do this. you have choices of going for the free directories or you can resort to premium directory submissions for a faster link to any paid directory if you have the finances.
    2. directory submissions is done by every webmaster and website owner and therefore you should also do the same because for sure you do not want to be left out in the SERPs 9search engine results pages).
3.i have visited your website and did a link:domain check on them and i found out that you still don't have the necessary links that any website should have.
4The links you should be giving to your business sites could come from directory submissions, article submissions, feeds submissions, blog networking, forum networking and many more like two way link building, or three way kink building.

If you want to learn all of these facts, then visit forums and honestly ask for it so that you can get as many infos that you might need from other members.

I hope this is enough for the meantime and you can start doing a little research yourself to satisfy your needs ;) .

Unless you are in a cut-throat niche, network with fellow webmasters that might be interested to link to your *high quality* website.
