the answer is simple: why is helping OTHERS beneficial to YOU blogging like any other professional puboishing a means: - to HELP others, - to share helpful information and howtos - to make educational information and data available FOR FREE to all world - to unite people across the planet by sharing and thus by creating links to others blogging is a means of easy publishing, leaving more time for creative productivity money is but a SIDE effect of blogging or publishing those millions of blog or publish with MONEY in their mind and heart always FAIL sooner or later those however who have helping OTHERS as the only focus in mind and heart will succeed also financially far more than above first mentioned group of publishers to be helpful - thus to be able to blog or publish useful things people need maturity and expertise. hence in MOST ( few exceptions only ) cases blogging and publishing is FAR easier and FAR more successful for old or at least older ppl beyond 40 - ppl with decades of active professional experience and life behind. what is the benefit of HELPING others to grow strong ? simple - it is INFINITELY more pleasant to be and live among strong society and strong friends where each and every member of creation is free and strong than it would be to live among a society of brain- and heartless YES-sayers and blind followers of orders from above. to be a member of a team all strong is FUN to be a member of weak, ill, handicapped, dependant, social welfare receiver society is ZERO fun at all
I am doing it for money as well as for my personal satisfaction. I am having the blogs just like that of dairy.
I do not do it for the money, I do it simply because I love to make people smile. If I can bring just one real smile to just one person, I have done my job.
http://choseit.com/why-make-a-blog/ XD here are reaons why, but i run choseit which is free and ad free so my reason is simply for fun
I'm in it for the money that can be made off blogs, the experience of learning new things while I try to update my blogs, and just because I like doing it.
I blog to make money by doing what I love. I blog to be independent. Two years of working as a temp at several major banks showed me that I am not cut out for the corporate world.
I started doing it to be helpful (my gpt money blog), then continued to share my love of travel (on my travel blog) Now I still do it for the above reasons but also am trying my hand at making some money. It's been a learning experience for me. I'm retired and it's been great knowing that this 'old dog' can still learn some new tricks.
