Why do threads keep being deleted?

Wonder if anyone had the decency to inform me why?

Are you sure they're being deleted? Or just moved to the appropriate sub-forum?

Subscribe to threads you post in and use the Quick Links -> Subscribed Threads list.

'Decency' would involve us PMing and arguing with every single one of the thread starters that weekly start about N hundred threads in the wrong forum. Imagine the mod's worst nightmare if we had to inform everyone. Point is, the FAQ and Rules have already informed you.

You really aren't ready to post on forums yet mobile bay. My advice to you is to hang out in the forums for a while and read what other people are posting before you think about starting to post. You'll get a feel for where people post and what goes on in a forum.

    Hope this helps.

Sometimes I think threads I start get deleted, but they don't and don't get moved either. I've found that when I start a new thread it doesn't subscribe me to it nor does it show up on the "new posts" until someone else posts in it.

You posted in the wrong forum, I moved it. Then you created the same thread (in the wrong forum) and I deleted it.

Check your 'user CP' for your subscribed threads. :)

That's normal behavior for forum software. It won't notify you about your own posts because it assumes (perhaps erroneously) that you already know you posted it. It only informs you of new replies for threads to which you have subscribed.

Right, and if you click "Show all subscribed threads" at the bottom of your user cp, it will show even the ones that don't have any new responses.
