Or high-quality content? Two of my websites are PR 5. One was launched in August'05, another in Sept'05. Both of them virtually have no backlinks. My older PR 4 site got quick some back links but ranked lower than above.
I guess that is it but take a look at these. http://www.isnare.com <-- stayed at PR5 http://www.articledashboard.com <-- newer one but showing PR6 in future ranks www.isnare.com has a highquality link from goarticles.com which is also highly related. But I guess I'm making crazy conclusions...
Maybe goarticles.com is the mother of all the originals. Other mesothelioma sites take articles from goarticles So the credit is due, HEHE
hehehe I know glenn of isnare but not too well, but I am sure he does not take articles from goarticles.com And besides ezinearticles.com is also staying at PR6 with all the links they have.
being in coop will do this for you easily. i just got a 2 month old site a PR 6. but if this follows the trend of other sites ... it tends to go down a bit next update (assuming of course you are just using coop). not that i'm using coop for anything more then advertising ... of course.
http://www.maineyak.com is only a coupla months old. The only thing I've really done to it was add CoOp to it. PR6 was it's first PR.
LOL I just got a red in this thread with this comment, "jealous"... WOW! would have been better if it was, "Dont wonder and ask too much"... But jealous? hehehe Is the red button giving rampant around here just because he/she got a red too? hehehehehe
We had a site that we launced in May and it was PR5 by the next update. After the last update last week, it is now a PR6, so I think its more about links than age. The site we have has tons of baclinks on MSN and Yahoo, but not as many on google, but for some reason google still likes it.
