I'm just wondering what one does to get himself/herself banned from digitalpoint?

It seems as though I find at least one banned member in every other thread I read... what's the deal???

They don't follow the rules. Simply follow the rules. Rule number 1-Read the rules, rule number 2- follow the rules. and rule number 3- see rule number 1 hehehe ^_^

I guess some people always come back as well. And DP is not that stupid they will found and ban over and over. I found one that got him kicked out for the 5 time today :) Well and yes follow rules.

From the replies I'm guessing it's a spam thing... There must be a an over-abundance of spammers here combined with trigger-happy mods based on the number of banned members, some of whom have (had) 1000+ posts.

What's up with that vid btw?

ITs a silliy Question .... well i think most of the people are not properly aware of the rules and dont care about to even take it a look. Mostly people get infractions becoz of the wrong posting of thread, running up post counts, etc

From newbies i think its down to not following the rules and perhaps even being silly and having duplicate accounts.

As for those that have large post counts these are probably due to long standing infractions where 10 points have been reached.

Unfortunately on some external forums it is mentioned that some mods are unreasonable and over zealous when their opinions on specific subjects or within certain areas of the forum dont agree or conflict with their own views - lets just hope that DP doesnt turn into the next DMOZ in regards to admin with hide agenda's as bans from this sort of activity really isnt on.

I agree. I feel the mods are a bit trigger-happy, especially when it comes to banning people for multiple accounts.
