    Now that Bing own Yahoo, there is no real point, from our research most use Google, then split between Yahoo and bing. Yahoo also aggregates from Google.

    I use google when I want to search for something, but it's fairly boring by itself. I like the news, videos, etc that are linked from Yahoo.

    Yes, I am still using yahoo. I have created Id in the Yahoo Messenger. I like Yahoo answers, other stuffs like finance and it is also good for small business.

    It's not that I prefer Google or Yahoo over the other. Both is giving good results and for that, I have no complaints. Yahoo also features news on their site so it's easy for people to read it.

    Search is not the only thing between these 2 Giants. Even, there are many other things like email, content (news, sport updates etc), Messenger etc. So, people will be using different services from the yahoo. No matter what they use or why they use.

    Yahoo was established years before Google was even thought about so most people still use some of the old facilities,i still use alot of things on Yahoo for that reason.

    yes my google mail is full of junk email, there is less junk on yahoo. for marketing project yahoo is also suitable bcz yahoo is easily available than google accounts. :)
