    Actually their results are different, I have inspected results of both Google and Yahoo or bing in parallel and I have seen they bring different result and it is obvious as their algorithm is not same and webmasters have to go ahead differently for them.

    I use google mostly for searches and yahoo for reading the news. Yahoo has a wonderful homepage that is better than Google's in my opinion.

    Yahoo is still a good search engine and also provides lots of other applications but if you have gmail, youtube, g-adsense and other google apps then why we use yahoo.

    I think most of Yahoo users like me are those that had emails before Gmail was launched. Now i use mostly my Gmail and has set up a forward to the Google account.
