Why do people like blogs?

I'm trying to understand the concept. Once I see a blog, I forget about it. I just want to know, what makes people come back to a certain blog more than often. To people bookmark it, remember it?

 

Well maybe cause they find info about a topic, they like the style and most important they visit it everyday for new posts to get backlinks.

That's why you see so many blogs and so many blog topics, they get backlinks, we get money (from ads).

 

For some reason i hate blogs.

 

People used to love writing about their life hence Xanga, while others like posting useful or interesting things. The best bloggers are the ones that do it as a hobby and love to share knowledge. They don't heavily focus on the money part. Other people who randomly come across the same interest end up reading that blog on a daily routine.

 

I don’t like them, usually the content is junk and I hate the layout it is all skinny and long it is like trying to read a book written on a roll of toilet paper.

 

Haha resto, thats why I asked the question, because I can never find myself into a blog.

 

i do video blogs about my warhammer and D&D figures. Never done a real blog on real things tho.

 

I only visit a handful of blogs regularly. However, I think a lot of blogs get their traffic from search engines.

 

Its great for adsense, brings in good revenue
