Why do 97% of internet marketers fail in the first 2-3 months, or completely give up even before they have started?
Sometimes, it's because they don't research their market and target the wrong people. Other times, it's because they try to take on too much at once.
Poor plan. Poor executions. Lazy. Distracted easily by the next big shiny object. Don't pick the correct niche. Don't do the proper research first before they start. People often want instant riches with little work and think it's just about throwing together a website and the money will floe. Doesn't work like that.
Too many choices brought about by some very tempting sales pages promising instant riches with 3 clicks of a mouse. Instead of working on one thing that they like until they make money, most try one thing for a week and then another thing for a week then another etc. Nothing actually gets completed. It's part of the internet marketing trap. Keep buying products without actually using them.
I agree with dailybread2011 100%. It is so easy to get caught up in the alleged push button products that offer thousands of dollars in income with just the click of a mouse. Then they get distracted by the next push button product and so on and so on. It's like hamsters running on a wheel. I can't lie though, I've been attracted to these systems myself in the past.
Now I'm trying to use my customer acquisition and website design knowledge to create a profitable business.
actually new marketer thought they will be succeed because he have ability to do hard work and they do really hard work but in wrong way , so after a certain period they not get expected result. Maximum people are lazy to read , lazy to know more . when they get a source - know something new - they belive that and try to do so. but they never thought - every thing have an equal negative side. when they face negative result , they stop working . I think this is why
Hi Ron, Having been in advertising and marketing now for 27 years, I would say it comes down to not understanding the marketing process. Research, Strategy and Planning for starters. If you have a strategy you have to plan on how you are going to measure that strategy. Executing is the easy part, but then you have to interpret the measurements and analytics. Your interpretations will then take you down the path of understanding what to change to improve the results. Since none of this happens in 30 days, patience and perseverance become necessary too!
I can certainly relate to that. Always jumping onto the next big thing that promises more but doesn't deliver.
I've recently signed up for a 6 month coaching course that teaches newbies HOW to do the necessary stuff. Most gurus charge you money to tell you what to do, but don't tell you the basics, or how to apply them.
Failure is the first step to success. People give up because the workload is too much and not what they expected. Some people believe that I.M is extremely easy but its extremely hard or rather challenging.
The people who buy and believe you can get rich at the push of a button are usually dreamers who this will always be nothing more than a dream for. People who REALLY want to make a go of internet marketing understand you have to take it sserious and work HARD at it. Treat it like a business and not a hobby and you can make it work.
