Hi folks, and merry Christmas to you all dp members,

I have this chronic problem that my home page is out ranking new posts for long time before the actual posts do appear in google search results.

I think this is because of the high page rank / importance of the home page and poor importance/ SEO value of new posts, and that the new posts' title appear in the home page as they are posted. However do you guys face this problem too and how to solve it

Each post has a link to home page if site is Seo. Home page ranks higher most of the time and a new post has no page rank so home page will show up instead of new post. The fact that the new post is on home page is correct answer why it shows up not new post.

one way to solve the problem is to link to the new posts! however it will take long time before the post really replace the home page in serps about (10 days), I think I will stop linking to my home page and only build links to posts

Still looking for any suggestion from you guys :)
