Dear fellow webmasters, I found that the Google only show my blog post title and meta tag description at almost all of Google Search result that related to my blog post. Is it normal? Can you give some suggestion if I want the Google Search result show my blog post title and post content (first paragraph of the post or other paragraph) instead meta tag description ?
I have never tried this but guessing it might work. Add the first paragraph in description tag or wipe the description tag totally, this might work. It is always better to have a meta description uniquely written for the post.
There is no way to make Google do this... The best you can get is to force Google to build a snippet using sentence fragments from your page that contain the words from the search phrase by deleting your <meta name="description"> element from the <head> of your pages. But this will not be the 1st paragraph of your post. It's likely going to be a few words from one sentence followed by "..." followed by few words from another sentence followed by "...", etc. Perhaps if you understood HOW the snippet is derived you could understand what is currently happening. This is a previous post of mine that explains who the snippet is determined by Google:
I think that impossible to have unique description tag while I still use blogspot. Hem... I may consider to wipe description tag. *still thinking* thanks for suggestion anyway.
