When a program expires they send the incoming traffic to a different offer.

I also think this may have have a theory to do with affiliate cookies since some offers have several offers. If they go to one and complete it you get paid, but they still have that cookie.. if they then sign up for another service offered by the same company you get another commission. It just seems like they are directly going to the other offer when its really just extra cash for you. I haven't asked my AM if this is the case but it made sense in my mind.

well the campaign never shuts off its just like all of a sudden i got these clicks for random offers and sometimes they convert which could be conversions for my main product and sometimes it can be like 70% of my affiliate links are being directed to some smiley offer. when they should be going somewhere else.

if an offer is expired it'll redirect and

if an offer isn't for that particular country it'll redirect. example: if you're running a u.s. offer and get canada traffic, it'll redirect.

Yeah his explanation makes more sense, just wishful thinking on my part.

Also if the visitor comes from a country which the offer doesn't apply. Then more than likely the Affiliate Companies will redirect to an international offer, like Smileys.

    Cheers
